Description: Tennis Tennis is provided for all ages and all standards of player: beginners, intermediate and advanced. For those starting out or wishing to improve, top quality professional coaching is on hand for both adults and juniors. The Club's resident coaches offer individual lessons, courses and squad training sessions - available to members. Tennis at Northumberland is designed to be fun and an ideal sport for all the family; whether you wish to play competitively or enjoy social tennis we offer a comprehensive programme of tennis activities at all levels. Squash Whether you are an aspiring professional, a club player, or a complete beginner, The Northumberland Club offers a wide range of squash activities. Whatever your level, our team of qualified and experienced squash professionals will help you improve your game. Junior Squash Development Programmes and courses welcome players of all ages from 4 years upwards. As well as coaching a range of teams, leagues, ladders and tournaments are also organised offering both social and competitive squash. Badminton Players of all standards participate in social and competitive Badminton. Badminton is played in the multi-purpose sports hall on four courts with feather shuttles. The Club Championship is hosted annually at Northumberland Club featuring various events, a popular one being the 'family fun' event. Adult Club Play held on a Monday evening is a very popular activity and for those ready for more action, the Club is represented in the Northumberland Badminton Leagues in both Men's and Mixed Doubles. Adult coaching takes place on Monday mornings, this is an open session designed to be fun and encourages players to meet, mix and brush up on strokes and tactics.
