Description:
The National Glass Centre is an important and unique venue dedicated to exploring ideas through glass and providing opportunities for people to be creative, enjoy themselves and feel inspired. Based in a spectacular contemporary glass and steel building the National Glass Centre houses galleries, artists studios and production facilities, craft & design shop and award wining café restaurant. We deliver a programme of changing exhibitions, education programmes and events for schools, families, adults and children.

Tour maps are available on arrival and guide you through the exhibition halls; the Kaleidoscope Gallery - which explores some of the more scientific properties of glass; and the Glass Blowing Demonstration Studio - watch artists creating unique works of art from molten glass!

Activities for kids (6+) in the school holidays and during hal term.  Check the website for details.
