The Lightfoot centre is situated on the East side of the City of Newcastle, just 3 miles and 8 minutes drive time away from the vibrant Quay side and city centre. The centre offers an extensive range of facilities and activities including:
Casual and block bookings for various sports
Party bookings including soft play, football, trampoline and multi sports activities. Club, school and commercial bookings One off sporting and social events
Conferences, functions, seminars and exhibitions. Training and meeting facilities Sports development and coaching Special needs activities Holiday Play Schemes Discounted and funded activities and events
The management team are always looking for new ideas and ways in which the facilities and time available might be utilised more effectively. Nothing is cast in stone and programming of the facility is reviewed on a regular basis in order to meet demand and to satisfy the ever-changing needs of our customers.
The leisure centre is open 7 days per week.
Opening hours Monday to Friday are from 8.00am until 10.30pm.
Opening hours on Saturdays and Sundays are from 9.00am until 4.30pm.
The leisure centre is closed during all statutory Bank holidays throughout the year.
