Description:
Silksworth Sports Complex is one of the premier ski and snowboard centres anywhere in England. Our sports complex covers the former Silksworth Colliery site and includes the main 165m ski and snowboard slope along with two nursery slopes, athletics track, outdoor skate park, grass football pitches, fishing lake and large open areas of reclaimed land.
Our slopes are fully floodlit and served by three tows offering year round recreational skiing and snowboarding (programme and weather permitting) as well as expert tuition for all ages and abilities from 4 years for skiing and 7 years for snowboarding.

Facilities and activities include:

  • Snowsports School
    Our snowsports school is staffed by leading coaches and instructors from around the country who are all nationally or internationally qualified to a high standard. Our coaches and instructors are here to help you achieve your snowsports goals whether you are a complete beginner or a more
    experienced skier or snowboarder wanting to improve your technique.
  • Recreational Skiing and Snowboarding
    This is available for those who can competently turn from one edge to the other whilst snowboarding or for those who can competently snowplough, stop and turn on the main slope whilst skiing.
  • Snowsports Lessons & Courses
  • Young People and Snow Tubing
  • Floodlit dry ski slope for skiing, snowboarding and snow tubes
