Places to visit

Newcastle upon Tyne and the surrounding areas are full of interesting places to visit with the kids. 

The North East is a great place to visit not only for its award-winning attractions but also because we have the coast and the countryside right on our doorstep. 

With so many attractions and places to visit you will be able to fill your days with plenty of activities that will suit all ages and interests.  Learn more about the history of ship building in the Discovery Museum or step back in time at Beamish Museum.  Visit one of the twelve National Trust properties in the area ranging from Souter Lighthouse to the Trusts most impressive ruin Hadrians Wall.  There are so many places to visit in the North East that you won't be able to fit them all into one visit.
