Description: Cragside Primary School is proud to be a welcoming, caring community which enables children to reach their full potential.  We hope our website gives a flavour of how we achieve this, as well as providing basic information about the school. If you are the parent of a prospective pupil then you may find a visit to the school useful.  This is an opportunity for you to see the school at work, and find out more about how we provide a high quality education for all our children.  We can also answer any questions that you may have at this time.   New children begin school in the September of the academic year that they are five.  Applications for school places are submitted to the Local Authority in the Sept/Oct of the year before they are due to start.  Each September we have a series of dates where it is possible to come and visit the school, please contact us in early September to book a place on one of these.
